Thank you for supporting the university’s United Way Campaign!  Each year, employees join together to make a positive impact by donating to support the Heart of Florida United Way’s efforts in our local community.  They spearhead initiatives like United Way 2-1-1 Call Center that provides free referral and case management to help people find the help they need and address issues to help them back to self-sufficiency.  The United Way also provides targeted funding to local non-profits for programs that address issues in health and human services.

In addition, our employees have the option to donate to any charity of their choice – so if you have a favorite agency with which you volunteer or have a good relationship, you can make your personal donations to them through payroll deduction.

How to Participate

Use the online or paper pledge form to either make a donation or participate without donation.

Donations can be designated to any charity of your choice. For details on designating, click HERE.

Raffle Prize List:

  • One faculty or staff parking permit (16-17 Academic Year, value based on winner’s employment).  Donated by UCF Parking and Transportation Services.
  • Two tickets to the Chef’s Gala (event held in February 2017, value $500).   Donated by an anonymous campaign supporter.

  • October 3rd (advanced pledging) – 5 chances to win
  • October 7th – 4 chances to win
  • October 14th – 3 chances to win
  • October 21st – 2 chances to win
  • October 31st – 1 chance to win

You must participate by 5 p.m. on October 31st to be entered into the raffle.

Extra chances to win may also be available at various special events, including the Employee Benefits Fair on October 30th. If you see us tabling, come say hello!


Drawing will be held on Friday, November 4th, at Noon.


Participation is open to all faculty and staff at the University of Central Florida who donate using the online system or paper pledge card option.  Paper pledge card donors will be effective the date they are entered in the system, which can be 1-2 weeks after submission. Winners will be randomly chosen from all participants and will be drawn by the university campaign chair Rich Sloane, or his designee. Winner need not be present at the drawing to win. All prizes listed donated specifically for use in the university’s United Way Campaign.  This event is hosted by the UCF United Way campaign team, contact LiveUnited@ucf.edu or 407.823.3094 for more information.  Purchase or contribution not necessary for participation.  Winner may be responsible for associated taxes; list of prizes and associated winners will be provided to Human Resources in the first week of November.
